5 important things to do before your trip

• Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your return.
• If you are also travelling to Zimbabwe or Botswana, keep at least 6 blank pages in your passport.
• Children under 18 must travel with their own passport and an abridged birth certificate. If accompanied by only one parent, written travel authorisation from the other parent is required.
• At passport control in Windhoek, check that your visa stamp shows the correct dates. You may stay in Namibia for a maximum of 90 days per calendar year.
• You must present a valid return ticket on entry.

Nationalities that do NOT require a visa prior to arrival

Angola, Botswana, Brazil, Cuba, Eswatini, Indonesia, Jamaica, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mozambique, Russian Federation, Seychelles, Singapore, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Hong Kong & Macau (SARs of China).

All others need a visa and can apply either online (90 days prior to arrival) or on arrival (not available at all entry ports). See eservices.mhaiss.gov.na for details and the visa-on-arrival form.

Payments

Half-day and full-day tours can be paid in cash on the day of the tour. All other bookings can be paid in ZAR/NAD at your bank or online into our account — banking details are on the invoice.

Malaria

Please consult your doctor or a tropical institute before deciding on malaria prophylaxis. It is recommended for the north and north-east of Namibia, and for Botswana and Zimbabwe during the rainy season (January to April only).
