Half-Day & Day Tours
Our half-day and full-day tours in and around Windhoek make your visit to the capital even more interesting. The tours are small adventures in a relaxed atmosphere. We will pick you up at your accommodation and bring you back there.
Prices are valid from 01.01.2026 to 31.12.2026. All tours take place with a minimum of 2 people; children below 12 years pay half. By booking you accept our terms and conditions.
We pick you up from your accommodation and bring you back after the tour; a souvenir shop can be visited on the way. Travel time about 1 hour each way. The sustainable, eco-friendly tours let you learn about local species and conservation — every booking helps preserve the project. Please choose your activity in advance. If you choose two activities, the restaurant and pool are available while you wait between tours (pool towels free to borrow; food & drinks paid on site).
Join us for a 2 hours walk with the indigenous San and experience the almost forgotten knowledge of their traditional life as hunters & gatherers. You will experience an introduction into the original click language, learn ancient wisdom of bush plants and their uses, reading animal footprints, mastering fire making, crafting with ostrich eggs and gaining insight into the contemporary challenges faced by the San.
Drive to the popular Okapuka Safari Lodge, 30 km north of Windhoek, for a 2-hour game drive in an open safari vehicle. Okapuka offers great biodiversity close to the capital — crocodiles, giraffes, white rhinos, impala, waterbuck, wildebeest, red hartebeest, springbok, oryx, kudu, warthog, sable antelope, eland, jackals and many bird species.
Pick-up in Windhoek at 7:00 am, return around 6:30 pm. A 2-hour drive east to the beautifully located Okambara Elephant Lodge, then a 3-hour game drive in an open safari vehicle with a good chance of seeing elephants, rhinos and many antelope. Enjoy lunch, coffee and cake, and relax by the pool before the cheetahs and caracals are fed.
Various horse rides are offered, with hotel pick-up and drop-off in Windhoek. Please bring sturdy shoes, long comfortable trousers and sun protection. Horses are available for beginners and advanced riders — state your weight, height and riding experience when booking.
