For a completely carefree trip, we recommend a guided safari. Your experienced tour guide and driver take care of everything — just enjoy your holiday! Note: this is only a possible example; we gladly custom-make your individual dream holiday.

Welcome to Namibia! Your guide greets you at the airport and takes you to Okapuka Ranch to discuss the trip and receive your documents. Acclimatise and relax (2 pools), then enjoy your first game drive among rhinos, giraffes, crocodiles and antelope. ~1 hour / ~80 km tar road from the airport.
Included: Airport transfer, travel briefing & documents, adapter plug, map, mosquito repellent and game drive. 1 night with breakfast at Okapuka.
Drive to Mount Etjo Lodge, home to antelope, hippo, elephant, lion and cheetah. Free afternoon; after dinner watch the impressive lion feeding. ~3 hours on ~250 km tar and ~40 km gravel roads.

A guided ~3-hour game drive in an open safari vehicle, with a free afternoon.

North to the famous Etosha National Park, staying at the eastern entrance in Onguma Bush Camp. Afternoon game drive with extensive commentary; great chances of lion, hyena and cheetah among the herds of zebra, springbok and wildebeest. ~4 hours on 40 km gravel and ~350 km tar roads.
Included: Overnight with dinner and breakfast at Onguma Bush Camp, game drive in Etosha, park entrance fee.
Another day filled with wildlife viewing in the park.

Cross Etosha from the eastern Lindequist Gate to the southern Anderson Gate, enjoying varied vegetation and endless photo opportunities. Stay at Etosha Safari Lodge and end the day with a sundowner on the deck. ~6 hours on ~250 km of gravel roads.

Continue to beautiful Damaraland and rustic Camp Kipwe. On the way, a short hike to the petrified forest — ancient fossilised tree trunks — and the unique Welwitschia mirabilis, some over 2000 years old. ~3.5 hours on ~320 km tar and gravel roads.

Guided game drive in search of the desert-adapted elephants of Damaraland, then a guided hike to the World Heritage Site of Twyfelfontein to see thousands-of-years-old rock engravings and paintings by the San.

Cross the Namib to the German-styled coastal town of Swakopmund. Stroll the historic streets, enjoy the cafes and the beach. ~6 hours on ~350 km of gravel and salt roads. You stay centrally at The Delight.

A free day for your favourite activities: desert tours, catamaran trips, scenic flights, sandboarding, skydiving, paragliding, kayaking, fishing, quad biking, or the Crystal Gallery and museums.

South into the Namib to Dune Star Camp, where you can roll your bed onto the deck and sleep under the African stars. A short guided dune hike before dinner. ~5 hours on 250 km gravel and 40 km tar road.

Enjoy sunrise coffee in bed, then a hearty breakfast at Namib Desert Lodge before continuing to Sesriem and the NWR Sossus Dune Lodge. A short hike in Sesriem Canyon. ~1 hour on ~70 km gravel road.

Before sunrise, drive to the world’s highest dunes at Sossus- and Deadvlei — a paradise for photographers — with countless postcard motifs. Short hike to Deadvlei and its ancient dead acacia trees. Free afternoon.
Included: Overnight with breakfast at NWR Sossus Dune Lodge, guided excursion to the dunes, park entry fee.
East to the red Kalahari, where flatter dunes run parallel north to south and green camel-thorn acacias contrast the red sand. A sundowner drive ends the day. (Travel as guided.)

A free day — relax by the pool, walk with the San to learn about plants and animals, go horse riding, or enjoy a massage at the on-site spa.

We recommend a visit to the Arts & Craft Centre in Windhoek for lunch and final shopping before your guide takes you to the international airport. We wish you a pleasant flight home!
