Etosha National Park

We pick you up from your hotel in Windhoek at 8:00 a.m. and bring you back around 6:00 p.m. on day 3. We drive ~480 km north on tarred roads to the famous Etosha National Park, which today covers ~22,270 km² — one of the world’s largest national parks, with a huge diversity of plants and animals.

In the afternoon we go on our first game drive; day 2 starts with an early game drive and we may observe animals all day long if you wish. Please bring snacks and enough batteries for your cameras — binoculars are worth bringing too. Water is freely available along the way. On the way back to Windhoek we visit the wood-carving market in Okahandja.
