Okapuka Ranch

Warm welcome to Namibia!

After arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport you

will be welcomed by your very experienced tour guide,

who will hand over all necessary documents as well as an information package.

Immediate transfer to Okapuka Ranch.

At the Lodge feel free to relax by the pool or go on a hiking trail to stretch your legs after your long flight.

In the afternoon you will join your first game drive with great opportunities to watch wildlife up close!

Okapuka is home to white rhino, giraffe, blesbok, springbok, sable antelope, oryx, warthogs, eland, impala, black and blue wildebeest, red hartebeest and even crocodiles!

Driving time from the airport to Okapuka:  Approx. 1 hour.

Mount Etjo Safari Lodge

After breakfast at leisure your guide takes you to the beautiful Mount Etjo Safari Lodge.

Here you have great chances to see elephants, hippos, lions and cheetah! You will join a lion and cheetah feeding tour in the afternoon/ evening.

Driving time: Approx. 3 hours on about  250 km tarred and about 40 km gravel roads.

Included: Mount Etjo DBB, feeding tour.


Mount Etjo Safari Lodge

Today you will join a 3 hour game drive at Mount Etjo.

Spend the afternoon at leisure.

Onguma Bush Camp

We continue our journey further North to the Etosha National park. You will be accommodated at the Eastern entrance of the Park at the Onguma  Bush Camp. In the afternoon we will have our first game drive into the Etosha Park and watch wildlife. Your tour guide will give you lots of info about the different species you will come across.

Huge herds of zebra, springbok and wildebeest are roaming here. Chances to spot some predators are excellent!

Driving time: Approx. 4 hours on 40 km gravel and about 350 km tarred roads.

Included: Onguma Bush Camp DBB, game drive inside the Etosha Park, Park entrance fee.


Onguma Bush Camp

Another full day of game viewing in the Etosha National Park ahead of you.

Etosha Safari Lodge

Today another exciting game drive through the park to the Southern entrance, the Anderson Gate. You will be staying just outside the park at the Etosha Safari Lodge.

End the day with a sundowner at the Lodge deck and review your unforgettable moments of today’s spectacular wildlife sightings!

Driving time: Approx. 6 hours on about 250 km gravel roads.

Camp Kipwe

On the road again, which leads leads to Camp Kipwe in Damaraland.

Along the way you optionally can join a guided hiking tour at the Petrified Forest (about 30 min.)

These tree trunks were washed down a river in ancient times. There must have been a huge flood that carried along the trunks to where they lie today. It is assumed they originated in the central part of Africa some millions years ago.

Another highlight are the Welwitschia Mirabelis plants, named after botanist Mr Friedrich Welwitsch who discovered the plant in the mid-19th century in Angola. This plant is only found within the Namib desert!

Driving time: About 3,5 hours on approx 320 km.

Included: Camp Kipwe DBB, hiking tour at the Petrified Forest.


Camp Kipwe

Today you will join a nature drive in search of the desert adapted elephants and enjoy a hiking tour at the World Heritage Site Twyfelfontein. Here you can admire the very old rock engravings and some rock paintings created by the San people.

The Delight

After a hearty breakfast we continue our trip by crossing the Namib – the oldest desert in the world – and proceed to the old colonial town of Swakopmund at the Atlantic Coast. Beautiful colonial architecture invites you for a stroll through town.

You will be accommodated at the centrally located The Delight Guesthouse.

Driving time: Approx. 6 hours

DAY 10

The Delight

Spend this day at leisure or take part in one of the activities on offer.


Living desert tour, catamaran boat cruise, scenic flight, quad biking, sandboarding, para gliding, kayaking, fishing etc. Feel free to contact us for more information and rates.

Swakopmund offers a huge variety of excellent restaurants.

e.g. The Tug, The Jetty, Zur Alten Brücke or the Ocean Cellar Restaurant at Strand Hotel for lunch and dinner.

DAY 11

Namib Dune Star Camp

On the road again. Your tour guide again takes you into the desert while heading for the Dune Star Camp where you can sleep under the stars! The Dune Star experience is a one-night once-in-a-lifetime Namib Desert opportunity and allows guests the privilege of spending time in the desert wilderness with its exceptional views, clean air, open spaces and bright starlit sky.

Driving time: Approx. 5 hours on about 250 km gravel and 30 km tarred roads.

DAY 12

NWR Sossus Dune Lodge

Early start with coffee / tea / biscuits at the bungalow, followed by a guided sunrise walk (approximately 1 hour) in the surrounding dunes of the Namib Dune Star Camp.

After the walk, you will have time to freshen up and depart on a 30 minute drive back to Namib Desert Lodge, where a hearty breakfast awaits you.

Today our travels will take you to the Sesriem National Park. Here you can explore the Sesriem Canyon on a short guided hike.

Spend the afternoon at leisure at the NWR Sossus Dune Lodge.

Driving time: Approx. 1 hour on 70 km gravel road.

Included:  Sossus Dune Lodge BB, guided hike at Sesriem Canyon, Park entrance fee.

DAY 13

NWR Sossus Dune Lodge

Your guide will take you to the highest dunes in the world as well as to Sossusvlei and the Dead Vlei. Climb a dune of your choice and

take brilliant pictures of the old Acacia trees!

Spend the afternoon at leisure at the Lodge.

Included: NWR Sossus Dune Lodge BB, excursion to Dead- and Sossusvlei,

DAY 14

Kalahari Bagatelle Lodge

After a relaxed breakfast, we will continue to the other desert of the country: The well-known Kalahari Desert.

Here, you will stay at the beautiful Bagatelle Lodge! End this day with a stunning sundowner drive and enjoy your favorite drink in this fantastic landscape.

DAY 15

Kalahari Bagatelle Lodge

This day is reserved for your prefered activity, alternatively you can spend this day at leisure.

Choose between horse back riding, a guided walk with the San, a nature drive, a cheetah feeding tour or pamper yourself in the SPA with a wellness treatment.

DAY 16

Slowely but surely your holiday is ending.

We recommend a visit of the Arts & Crafts Centre in Windhoek before your guide will take you to the Hosea Kutako International Airport for your flight home!
