DAY 1
Welcome to Namibia!
Your Red Earth Safaris guide will greet you at the airport and take you to Okapuka Ranch. There you will discuss the trip and receive your travel documents.
Afterwards you have time to acclimatise and relax. There are 2 pools available or you can walk along a marked hiking route.
In the afternoon you go on your first game viewing trip.
Rhinos, giraffes, crocodiles and numerous species of antelope live here!
Afterwards the 4 cheetahs are fed and you can watch them at their dinner. The cheetahs now live in a large enclosure after being freed from a desolate enclosure. Unfortunately, due to their past, these animals can no longer be released into the wild.
Travel time from the airport to Okapuka about 1 hour on about 80 km of tar road.

DAY 2
After a leisurely breakfast, your tour guide will take you to Mount Etjo Lodge.
In addition to numerous antelopes, hippos, elephants, lions and cheetahs live here.
Free time in the afternoon. After dinner the lions are fed. An impressive experience!
Travel time about 3 hours on about 250 km of tar road. and about 40 km of gravel roads.

DAY 3
Today you will go on a guided game drive lasting approximately 3 hours in an open safari vehicle.
The afternoon is at leisure.

DAY 4
The journey continues north to the famous Etosha National Park!
You will stay at the eastern entrance of the park in Onguma Bush Camp.
In the afternoon, first game viewing trip in the park. Your tour guide will provide you with extensive information about the local flora and fauna.
Huge herds of zebras, springboks and wildebeests cross the path and the chances of seeing predatory game such as lions, hyenas, cheetahs etc. are very good!
Travel time about 4 hours on 40 km of gravel road and about 350 km of tar road.

DAY 5
Another day filled with wildlife viewing awaits you!

DAY 6
Today we cross the Etosha National Park from the eastern Lindequist Gate to the southern Anderson entrance. Various vegetation areas in the park offer varied photo opportunities. Animals, animals and more animals entertain us along the way!
We stay at the beautiful Etosha Safari Lodge, located just outside Anderson Gate.
This day ends with a sundowner on the lodge deck and rounds off the day’s experiences perfectly.

DAY 7
The journey continues to the beautiful Damaraland to the rustic Camp Kipwe.
On the way you can take a short hike to the so-called petrified forest
be explored.
These tree trunks were probably washed here from the central continent a very long time ago and then fossilized under large masses of mud.
Today some parts of it lie on the surface of the earth and we can marvel at it. The original plant Welwitschia Mirabelis, which was named after its discoverer, Mr. Friedrich Welwitsch, also grows here.
This plant grows exclusively in the Namib Desert and some specimens are more than 2000 years old.
Travel time about 3.5 hours on approximately 320 km of tar and gravel roads.

DAY 8
After breakfast you go on a guided game drive in search of the desert-adapted elephants that like to stay here in Damaraland.
In the afternoon we drive to the world heritage site Twyfelfontein.
Here you will be introduced to numerous rock engravings and some rock paintings on a guided hike. These are several thousand years old and were made by the San residents.

DAY 9
After breakfast we continue to the Atlantic coast. We cross the oldest desert in the world, the Namib, and drive to the old German colonial town of Swakopmund. During a stroll through the city you will see a number of buildings from the historic colonial architecture. Numerous cafes and restaurants invite you to linger and a walk on the beach is worth it!
You live very centrally in The Delight guest house.
Travel time around 6 hours on around 350 km of gravel and salt roads.

DAY 10
This day is available for different activities!
Choose your favorite tour.
There are desert tours, catamaran tours, scenic flights, sandboarding, skydiving, paragliding, kayak tours, fishing tours, quad biking,
or visit the Marine Museum, the Swakopmund Museum or the largest mineral and gemstone collection in the Crystal Gallery.

DAY 11
Today the journey takes us further south into the Namib to Dune Star Camp.
Here you can roll your bed onto your room’s patio deck and sleep under the breathtaking African starry sky!
An unforgettable experience!
Before dinner, you can take part in a short, guided hike into the dune landscape. Your guide will explain the local flora and fauna to you.
Travel time about 5 hours on 250 km of gravel and 40 km of tar road.

DAY 12
You can enjoy today’s sunrise with fresh coffee in your bed before you are taken to the Namib Desert Lodge for a hearty breakfast buffet.
Today’s short journey then continues to Sesriem to the NWR Sossus Dune Lodge.
Here we take a short hike in Sesriem Canyon. This gets its name from 6 oxcart straps that had to be knotted together to draw water from the canyon.
The afternoon is at leisure.
Travel time about 1 hour on about 70 km of gravel road.

DAY 13
According to the motto: “The early bird catches the worm”, today the day begins before sunrise! We drive to the highest dunes in the world
to Sossus and Deadvlei. This is where the hearts of all hobby photographers beat
Specialists higher! The play of light and colors is particularly special during sunrise and sunset. One part of the dunes is in the shade and the other in the sun, lots of postcard motifs are waiting for you!
At Deadvlei, which can be reached by a short hike, there are numerous dead acacia trees that are particularly attractive in this setting.

DAY 14
Red Kalahari sand awaits you today! You leave the Namib and head east to the country’s other famous desert – the Kalahari!
Here the dunes are much flatter and are arranged parallel to each other from north to south.
The green camel thorn acacia trees offer a great color contrast to the red dune sand.
In the afternoon you will take a sundowner ride and end this day with your favorite drink in hand on a dune and enjoy the sunset!

DAY 15
This day is reserved for your desired activity. Relax by the pool,
Learn more about local plants and animals on a walk with the San, go horseback riding, or treat yourself to a massage at the on-site spa!

DAY 16
Your vacation is slowly coming to an end. We recommend a visit to the Arts & Craft Center in Windhoek for lunch and final shopping before your guide takes you to the international airport for your flight home.
