PACKING LIST

For all overnight tours, we will put together a package for you with your detailed travel documents, travel tips, mosquito repellent spray, adapter plug, map and lip care product.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

  • Wind or rain jacket for the coast
  • Fleece jacket or sweater for winter.
  • Scarf or shawl for winter.
  • Hat for winter.
  • Comfortable, sturdy shoes with thick soles.
  • Sandals or flip flops.
  • Hat or cap.
  • Sun protection with at least SPF 30.
  • Eye moisturizing drops.
  • Nose oil.
  • Reusable water bottle.
  • Flashlight.
  • Binoculars.
  • Camera equipment with dust protection.
  • Charger for your electronic equipment.
  • Reserve Batteries.
  • Memory cards for photos.
  • Sunglasses.
  • Credit cards.

Most credit cards are accepted in the country, such as Mastercard and Visacard. Some ATMs now also accept Maestrocards. Please remember your valid PIN number for your cards and ask your bank whether your cards are activated for use in Namibia, South Africa, Botswana & Zimbabwe.

If you are also traveling to Botswana and/or Zimbabwe, please also bring US dollars in cash!

When you arrive at Windhoek Airport, you can easily get cash from an ATM or exchange cash at the numerous exchange offices. ATMs are available in most towns, but these often only have a limit of NAD 2000.00 per transaction. But you can withdraw NAD 2000.00 multiple times per day (up to your agreed daily limit).
