CHOOSE YOUR BEST TRAVEL TIME

Basically Namibia, Botswana & Zimbabwe are fascinating travel destinations throughout the year. However, depending on your special preferences, the seasons are known for:

null

GREEN SEASON

(December, January, February, March April)

The chances for good rains are high, accompanied by temperatures over 34 degrees Celsius during the day.

Downpours are intense but short and if it rains the temperature drops quickly.

Depending on the rain the flora starts to reawaken and the landscape is lush and green. Animals will find enough water puddles in the bush and are not easily observed around waterholes.

WILDLIFE VIEWING

(May, June, July, August)

Perfect for watching wildlife! The animals depend on the waterholes and
you can observe large numbers easily.
Temperatures usually reach up to 25 degrees during midday, but may fall below zero degrees during nighttime.

If we received good rain before, lots of grass will be everywhere, even in the deserts and the bush is thick and lush.

null

DRY SEASON

(September, October, November)

Some bushes and trees start to blossom and beautiful colours are added to our dry flora this time of year.
Temperatures increase to around 30 degrees during daytime and nights getting warmer.

However along Namibia’s coast it is often much cooler and the strong south west wind may occur.

Always make sure to bring some warmer clothing along if you travel to our coast.
